Government Appointed Agency

Under its Strengthening Medicare package, the Australian Government has introduced an international medical recruitment initiative to increase the number of appropriately qualified overseas trained doctors providing Medicare services in districts of workforce shortage across Australia. The following agencies are currently contracted by the Department of Health and Ageing to support the Government's international recruitment strategy under Strengthening Medicare.
