There are dark clouds on the horizon…
Are you really prepared to lead your people through the tough times ahead?

As the world moves closer to recession you can bet your bottom dollar that your company’s clients will be expecting you to deliver higher service for lower fees. And don’t expect that you’ll be saved by a break in the skills shortage—you can still expect the ageing workforce to deliver fewer incoming workers to replace retirees.

So what does this mean for you?

The old ways of selling recruitment services will become a sure-fire way to delegate your company to scurrying after the scraps: not knowing what your clients and candidates want will paint you as a low-quality business. Not having your business operations reflecting contemporary community standards will brand you a poor “corporate citizen.” And failing to heed global trends will accelerate the spiral into short-term sales activity to constantly try to catch up to shrinking sales targets.

But it’s not all doom-and-gloom…

The RCSA International Conference 2008 will investigate the key drivers of business as they’re happening now and what you can expect the future to bring so that you can get your business ready. Addressing both hard issues such as the political, economic, technological as well as the softer side of business such as people, relationships and corporate citizenship, the International Conference will prepare you to lead your company into an otherwise uncertain future.

Don’t gamble the survival of your business on ‘next quarter’s sales figures…’ make sure you’re prepared to take on the whole world at the RCSA International Conference 2008.

Imagining Catastrophe or Delivering Change

The Hon Bob Carr, the former Premier of New South Wales introduced the first carbon trading scheme in 2003 and has been at the forefront of discussion in the "global warming" debate since 1971. In 2004 he served as a member of Tony Blair’s International Climate Change Taskforce.

At the RCSA's Bridiging Connections Conference in New Zealand in August he will be sharing his ideas across a broad range of topics that will capture our attention and challenge our sensibilities to ensure we deliver change, not sit back waiting for catastrophe.

His views on world trade trends, the need for humanitarian intervention, international co-operation on global warming and the notion of a " community of democracies" will be a wide ranging and informative presentation from one of the most respected speakers on international issues.

This presentation is supported by the Bridging Connections Principal Sponsor RecruitmentSuper.
