John Rawlinson (JR as he is better known) started his working life as a Physical Education teacher at Victorian Secondary Schools.  He specialised in Outdoor Education and was a pioneer of the School Surfing Programs in Victoria.

In 1985 he decided it was time to swap his track suit for a business suit and after a brief stint in sales with a multinational pharmaceutical company, started a career in recruitment with Morgan & Banks, the leading recruitment and Human Resource consulting business in the Asia Pacific.

John worked across most areas of the recruitment and HR industry and developed a particular specialisation in business to business sales and marketing as well as the design and development of outsourced recruitment and talent management solutions.

For a number of years John was the Director of Victorian Operations for Morgan & Banks, and was the founding CEO of the specialist IT&T Company MBT, which grew under his leadership to be the market leader in Australia and New Zealand.

In 2001 John moved with his family to the USA as Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing for TMP Worldwide, the owner of leading online recruitment site

On his return to Australia, John took the position of Founding CEO of Talent2 International Limited and within three years, Talent2 grew from nothing to a company with annual revenues of $200 million, employing over 1000 staff across seventeen countries. Today Talent2 is recognised as a leader in Talent Management and HRO solutions.

John has a Bachelor of Education from Victoria University and a Graduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Swinburne University.  He is married and has three children.
