RCSA Corporate Members can now phone WIL (Workforce Info Line).

RCSA Business Solutions has been extended to include an immediate telephone advice service which is provided as part of your Corporate Membership.

 

Australian Corporate Members can pick up the phone for instant workforce advice on:

 

  • Workplace relations (Awards, Fair Work and the National Employment Standards, employment agreements/contracts, enterprise agreements, termination of employment and on-hire assignments, managing performance, conduct and attendance, unfair dismissal, adverse action / general protection, EEO and anti-discrimination, privacy, developing policies, procedures and good practice HR management).
  • Work health and safety (policies and procedures, management systems, audits and gap analysis, client safety assessments, managing work safety in client relationships).
  • Independent contracting (Contractor v employee, independent contractor agreements and contracts, minimum entitlements for independent contractors).


New Zealand Corporate Members can pick up the phone for instant workforce advice on:

  • Employment relations (Employment Relations Act, Employment Relations Authority, Mediation Service, individual and collective employment agreements, termination of employment, managing performance, conduct and attendance, unfair dismissal, use of casuals, EEO and anti-discrimination, privacy, developing policies, procedures and good practice HR management).
  • Work health and safety (policies and procedures, management systems, audits and gap analysis, client safety assessments, managing work safety in client relationships).
  • Independent contracting (Contractor v employee, independent contractor agreements and contracts, minimum entitlements for independent contractors).

Terms and conditions pertaining to RCSA WIL (Workforce Info Line):

  • Only current and paid up Corporate Members are permitted to use the WIL service.
  • Corporate Member includes the categories of head office, branches and sub branches.
  • Staff employed by a Corporate member may call the service, in a Corporate capacity only, and receive service, provided they can quote the Corporate ID membership number and the company name.
  • Staff employed or engaged by a Corporate member are not entitled to receive advice from the WIL service, in relation to their own employment or engagement by the Corporate Member, unless they can provide the WIL Adviser with written authorisation from an authorised representative of the Corporate Member.
  • RCSA Corporate members are only permitted to use WIL for obtaining advice and guidance on the management of workers employed or engaged by that member and early stage permanent placement candidates. Workers employed or engaged by an RCSA Corporate member’ includes:
     - employees and contractors engaged to work within the member’s business;
     - employees and contractors engaged to work as on-hire workers within a client business; and
     - permanent placement candidates both during the recruitment stage and within the first 1 month of employment by a client.
    The WIL service is not permitted to be used for the purpose of obtaining information, guidance and advice for the primary purpose of providing information, guidance or advice to clients of RCSA Corporate members where it does not pertain to the management of workers employed or engaged by that member, as defined, or for any like purpose.
  • The Australian WIL service is provided by FCB and includes advice in 3 areas:  workplace relations; work health and safety; and independent contracting.
  • The New Zealand WIL service is provided by Adelhelm & Associates and includes advice in 3 areas: employment relations; work health and safety; and independent contracting.
  • RCSA provides Corporate member details to FCB and Adelhelm & Associates in order for these organisations to provide the WIL service to RCSA Corporate members.
  • FCB and Adelhelm & Associates provide caller details, which RCSA may not have on its database, to RCSA, in order to collect feedback from users and to ensure the service meets Corporate member needs.  Caller details include name of the person calling and the phone number on which they may be contacted.

 

RCSA’s privacy collection statement relating to the collection of “personal information” through the WIL service:

  • The exchange of call information between RCSA and FCB or Adelhelm & Associates is for the purpose of administering the WIL service. Information is confidential and will not be disclosed to a third party.
  • For the purpose of administering the WIL service, the caller may have to provide caller details to identify themselves and provide contact details, including authority to access the WIL service.
