Using Business EQ to Strengthen Leadership Capability

* This delivery has been updated to a Online Video Workshop program

Overview:

The impact Emotional Intelligence has within organizations is nothing short of dramatic. It is responsible for 58% of professional success, regardless of job category. Of all the workplace skills a person can possess, none is more impactful than emotional intelligence. It is the single strongest predictor of performance and it serves as the foundation for a variety of other critical skills like time management, communication and customer service.

Business Emotional Intelligence is a practical, work-based approach to Emotional Intelligence that helps individuals and teams understand why people behave the way they do and how to maximise their engagement with, and performance at, work. It is an exciting advance in our understanding of how the management of critical emotions and behaviours are linked to the success of leaders and teams.

With leaders in organisations spending up to 80% of their time talking with and understanding others, changing the nature of how people communicate and work with each other can be the single most powerful way a leader can bring about performance breakthroughs.

Using Business Emotional Intelligence assessments combined with insightful development tools enables leaders to address leadership challenges and ongoing research shows a clear correlation with increased team trust, loyalty and productivity.

Business EQ Health Check:

The key to the Business Emotional Intelligence is self-awareness and awareness of others. It explains peoples’ capability to manage their emotions and behaviours at work and what effect it has on their potential and their performance.

In the lead up to this workshop, you will complete a 20-30-minute online psychology based Emotional Intelligence Assessment called the EBW (Emotions and Behaviours at Work). The feedback from this assessment will highlight your specific leadership strengths and areas you might like to develop.

Learning Outcomes:

This bespoke workshop, matched to your needs in the recruitment industry, assesses leadership business EQ, then provides a supportive forum for leaders to quickly learn, reflect and grow.

Learners will leave with increased self-awareness and be able to broadly predict where their team members sit on the EBW scale, along with have tools in their toolkit to use that information to positively influence performance and results.

EBW Business Emotional Intelligence assessments for leaders provides:

  • Benchmarks against 5000 international leaders
