Auckland | Leadership & The Art of Delegation

The Art of Delegation:  A Balancing Act to Inspire those Around You

Overview:

Successful leaders delegate. As you become more senior, your responsibilities expand further and it’s quite clear that you can’t do everything whilst producing high quality work, developing more business and maintaining your sanity.

We know that when we delegate it enables others to learn, gain confidence and builds trust. So if we’re helping others to develop by entrusting them with pieces of work, why do many people find delegating work to others so difficult?

There’s an art (and science) to maximising your relationships and resources, a balancing act that both motivates and inspires those around you.

This workshop provides you with a clear understanding of:

  • The difference between delegation and ‘assigning tasks’
  • Why delegation is so hard to do well and what’s holding you back
  • The neuroscience of motivation
  • The Cognitive Biases that prevent delegation and growth
  • A practical framework to action as you embark on becoming an expert delegator
