Overview:

There are very fixed opinions proclaiming ‘cold calling is dead’ or that ‘inbound marketing is a fad’ in recruitment, each tearing the other methodology apart.

However, there are pros and cons to both methodologies, ultimately you need to make the right choice for your market and business objectives but a combination of the both will maximise your results but in order to achieve this you need to seamlessly bring sales and marketing together!

Whether you still yield results from outbound sales or have the most sophisticated lead magnet, lead funnel and automated lead nurturing campaigns, the fact remains that an ESSENTIAL skill for recruiters is the fine art of the sales conversation.

In this workshop Amanda Hector will cover:
  • How to open a sales call without undermining the KNOW, LIKE & RESPECT the prospect has with your personal and company brand
  • How to build rapport quickly, whilst remaining authentic and building trust
  • A questioning structure that will guide the ‘conversation’ through a proven sales model but remains conversational
  • Questioning techniques to uncover needs and ‘pain’ points with recruitment and talent management
  • How to demonstrate the value you can add from a solution based sales model
  • Know when and what kind of commitment is appropriate in the context of the conversation, whilst moving the relationship forward to a sale.

For the last 10 years Amanda has been a specialist recruitment and sales trainer in Australia, New Zealand and the UK. During this time she has helped recruiters and recruitment business owners with organisational development and performance by developing skills, behaviours and processes to improve profitability, efficiency and retention.
