Recruitment Consulting (NZ) Essentials Introduction and Candidates 

 
The RCSA is invested in providing a comprehensive training package for new recruitment consultants joining the industry.  Intro to Recruitment Consulting and Candidates is topic one of the Recruitment Consulting Essentials online program.  This entry level topic will qualify learners with the basic knowledge and an understanding of the skills across key processes involved in recruitment.

The learning outcomes of an Introduction to Recruitment Consulting Essentials and Candidates, reflect current industry practice and the must have skills associated with recruitment legislation and the RCSA Code of Professional Conduct.  The personal success of a career pathway within the recruitment and staffing industry is professional conduct and upholding the principles, laws, ethics and conventions of a profession as a way of practice. This topic will enable learners to gain knowledge of best practice and ethical behaviours that underpin RCSA Member standards.

The topic is delivered virtually using Zoom which will be held across 2 x 2-hr sessions over the course of a 1 week period.

    Learning Outcomes:

    This  2 part  interactive video workshop covers the essential areas of recruitment for both Temporary and Permanent consultants in industrial and commercial markets, is about proven solutions and realistic approaches to the competitive and challenging world of recruitment; not text book theory. Attendees will benefit from the following content:

    • Legislation & relevant laws
    • Managing candidates
    • Recruitment process
    • Interviewing essentials


    Meet the facilitator: Penni Hlaca, MRCSA

    With 20 years recruitment experience across, Australia and New Zealand, Penni can offer course participants an insight into growing a recruitment career from the ground up. Penni has built many a desk across a variety of industries and until recently held leadership roles with global organisations.

    Penni is a co-director at Togethr HR a New Zealand business which can help prevent HR issues developing and provide the right kind of support for organisations exactly when they need it. Penni’s pragmatic approach ensures learners will enjoy an honest and insightful session where best practice being high on her agenda.

    Penni has spent 20 years working with global recruitment firms and was chosen as Recruitment Leader of the Year (Seek SARA, 2018). Penni is an active member of the RCSA (peak body for the recruitment and staffing industry in New Zealand and Australia) and she sits on the NZ Council and is a Board Director for New Zealand and Australia.
