Session Synposis:
Mental health, what is it and how do we know if a colleague is suffering from negative mental health? What would be some ‘normal’ behaviours we would observe, and how can the workplace put measures in place to ensure they are providing a supportive working environment? When and how do you encourage co-workers to seek professional help? What strategies would you provide them with for effective self-help? Acting early can help prevent problems getting worse and causing major difficulties for the individual and potentially a scaffolding negative and flow on effect to the team. Learn about the signs to look for and leave this session armed with a toolkit to assist you and your co-workers.
