Overview:

RCSA recruiter, and super-mum, Robyn Titmus will be joined by her Olympic gold medal winning daughter Ariarne Titmus for an interview with RCSA Chief Executive Charles Cameron on Thursday 28 October. Ariarne and Robyn will be invited to reveal all about the journey to being an Australian Olympic star, and what it takes to get through the months and months of training to get there. Register to hear what it takes to perform at such a high level and maintain mental strength during thousands of hours in the pool, and in support of an Aussie legend.

Ariarne Titmus - Australian Swimmer / Olympic Champion / World Record Holder

Tasmanian Born, Ariarne Titmus has quickly become the star in the Australian sporting scene. The recently crowned dual Olympic Champion stunningly handed the five-time Olympic Champion, Katie Ledecky her first Olympic defeat in both the 200m and 400m freestyle.

Known for her confident racing ability, tenacity and down-to-earth personality, Titmus isn’t shy of a challenge and has become an aspirational figure. Her influence extends beyond the pool as the boasts the highest engagement figures out of any Australian Swimmer.

Ariarne juggles between training and studying for a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science degree. She is a keen foodie and is passionate about health and fitness. Titmus is looking to capitalize on her successful 2021 Olympic campaign and continue her rise in the sport as a global superstar.

Robyn Titmus - Senior Client Partner, OnTalent

Robyn joined OnTalent as a Client Partner in June 2015, after relocating to Brisbane to support her daughter’s international swimming career. Her professional career combines 30 years’ recruitment and HR experience with sales and marketing management, leadership coaching and transition consulting.

In earlier years, following a successful athletic career, Robyn was engaged as a part-time Sports Presenter with Southern Cross Television and operated a production and marketing business with her partner.

With versatility and experience working with a broad client base, Robyn has built a reputation for her professional, consultative and tenacious working style. She enjoys partnering with clients to achieve successful recruitment outcomes, going that extra mile to deliver above expectation.

At OnTalent, Robyn specialises in middle management to C suite and executive level search and recruitment. Drawing on her management experience, she appreciates the client’s perspective and commercial expectations. Her 25 years with Boral Ltd included eight years as Sales & Marketing Manager, she was a member of the national training team and managed internal recruitment for Boral’s operational divisions in quarrying, civil construction and transport/ logistics and operations .

In the last 6 years at OnTalent, Robyn has grown her focus and passion to specialize and support the public sector, both local and state government and GOC’s. In addition, she actively works for not for profits and in the corporate sector. Robyn is a member of the RCSA and IPAA Queensland and is Vice-President of PODS (Parents for Dolphins Swimmers).
