Mastering Labour Hire & Contracting Safety
Overview:
Training for senior managers within Australia and New Zealand recruitment and staffing organisations, attendees will develop a deep understanding of recruitment and staffing agencies primary duty of care to their on-hire workers.
This two-part online video workshop series will cover the foundations of compliance with work health safety law. The learning outcomes will explore the shared duty of care between on-hire firms and host organisations and how they need to work together in a cooperative and coordinated way to keep on-hire workers safe during their temporary work assignments.
The first session is scheduled for
Tuesday, 14th September a 10.30am - 12.30pm AEST delivery, followed by the second session due
Wednesday, 15th September a 10.30am - 12.30pm AEST delivery.
Meet the facilitator: Amy Towers
Amy is a committed, curious and tenacious risk wrangler and work health and safety consultant.
An advisor with more than 15 years’ experience working with clients to analyse, guide and improve their workplace compliance and productivity while reducing their litigation risk Amy is an incredible asset to the businesses she partners with.
Amy holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (OHS) from RMIT (2002) as well as post-graduate studies in Business Management (2008) and Communication & Organisation from the University of Queensland (2019). She has also completed Lead Auditor Training and attended the Thought Leaders Business School.
