Overview:

After a seasonal rest and recharge, a break we all need and deserve this summer more than any other time, we step into another New Year – 2022. In theory, 2022 will be less disrupted than 2020 and 2021, so we should have the ability to find our ‘mojo’ again to plan and execute with more confidence about the future.

With so much change and rethinking influencing client and candidate behaviours, and new market dynamics evolving rapidly, early autumn 2022 is the perfect time to reassess and reimagine where you are going, who you are serving, what you are doing for them, and how you do it.

Pre-pandemic Recruitment of all flavours was mainly about winning customers, building trust, and attracting and providing talent for them. Without the customer, you did not have a mission to recruit. However, today, and no doubt for some time to come, any customer will line up to do business with you on your terms if you have the talent supply. This fundamental change in the Recruitment game needs new and more rigorous solutions because talent acquisition and qualification are now more a priority than customer acquisition and qualification.

The McGinn Partnership working with RCSA has created a Recruitment focused Program to run over eight weeks, one hour a week. The McGinn Partnership specialises in transforming Sales and Business Development capability, productivity and performance. After launching and facilitating the RCSA Talent Executive Network for the past 18 months, Tony McGinn has considered how the qualification Protocol used to acquire and grow customers could also optimise the acquisition and retention of candidates.

This eight-week Program will transform and tune up your mission-critical engines; Talent Management, Account Management and Business Development.

The Program is outlined below, along with the takeaways, benefits and outcomes you can expect from each session. It’s an L&D Program, and sessions will run as tutorials with regular break out rooms for discussion amongst the three ‘swimlanes’ of BD, Account Management and Talent Management.

We have designed the Program to enable your organisation to move forward and build your bespoke Performance Protocols and Playbooks. If you own this from the top, it will become your unique IP, competitive advantage, and your future in-house L&D for onboarding new team members.

The Program is a learning journey for Leaders, BD, Account Management and Talent Management. Participants should attend all eight weekly one-hour sessions to connect all the learnings into a complete solution.

The Program also provides a comprehensive digital workbook for each session to enable participants to review, rework, and reference.

Meet the facilitator: Tony McGinn

Tony founded his media business at age 22. Over 33 years under his leadership, the organisation grew to operate three businesses with 150 staff covering six offices across Australia, Europe, and Asia. All three companies shared a common denominator; they were B2B sales-driven businesses. In 2007 he listed his group on the ASX via an IPO. Tony sold his business in 2016 and decided to 'step change' his life.

That change saw Tony become a CEO & Business Owner Coach working with individual leaders and facilitating leadership groups. He also launched The McGinn Partnership; a firm focused on fixing an age-old problem for business. This problem was Tony's biggest frustration over more than three decades in his businesses, and in most of the companies he was working with around the world; the problem of productivity and accountability in Sales & Business Development.

Drawing on his extensive first-hand experience of working with many different international 'Sales Training' resources over past years, Tony spent all of 2017 deep in research and engagement with business leaders, educators and sales and BD teams. His focus was on a solution that would address the 'cause' of the problem, not just the symptoms.

The McGinn Partnership have developed a holistic Performance Protocol™ for Sales and Businesses Development that transforms the capability and performance of Sales and Business Development teams.

A highly successful leader who built and ran a business that thrived and expanded in the competitive media industry, Tony brings unique and new insights to leadership and business growth, insights from his deep experience through the lens of the CEO.
