Overview:

Today’s candidates are largely comprised of Millennials and Gen Z who are increasingly demanding a more customized experience in everything they do. That said, they expect a more personalized recruiting process. They don’t want a generic email blasted to everyone, but rather relevant, targeted content delivered on the networks in which they work and play. Candidates want to know up front what your agency can offer them, how working with you, your role as a trusted advisor can help them and towards the development of their professional career.         

LinkedIn is a great place to source candidates, but are you using it correctly? Did you know that LinkedIn understands Boolean search operators? Did you know that you mine into specific companies to find the candidates that you are looking for? Groups on LinkedIn have always been notoriously difficult to join but I will show you have we find the members of these groups without actually having to join the groups ourselves.

Vanessa Raath is determined to bring the ‘Human Element’ back into today’s Recruitment Process as she believes it has been lacking for too long now!

Vanessa believes that people are the core building blocks of every business but that doesn’t mean that we can treat every ‘block’ the same. With over 10 years’ experience in the Recruitment Industry, Vanessa specialised in the IT Applications space for most of this time. Before starting her career in Recruitment, she taught unruly children in London; operated a chairlift in the USA and taught people to Scuba Dive in SE Asia.
