The WHS Culture Effect Moving Past COVID-19

The WHS Culture Effect Moving Past COVID-19

Overview:

If there is one thing that COVID-19 has given us in spades, its tough situations—contradictions, competing priorities, and conflicting demands. For example, when a company tells its workers to abide by physical distancing rules, but the job makes this impossible, what is a manager to do?

RCSA Members are invited to join this complimentary webinar where we explore the perplexing situations that COVID has presented us with and the approach that can be taken to ensure organisational success as restrictions are eased and business returns to normal. With a focus on leadership, teamwork and culture, Dr Tristan Casey and Dr Xiaowen Hu will explain how your organisation can use COVID19 as an opportunity for growth and innovation, and avoid superficial compliance activities.

Dr Casey and Dr Hu conducted in-depth interviews with safety managers from 12 different industries, they discovered many competing demands that created challenges for ensuring compliance during this health crisis. The research found what leadership behaviours ‘really mattered’ when it came to managing the crisis and protecting organizational culture, commitment, and engagement.

To ensure you get the most out of the session, we will showcase a post-COVID cultural health toolkit which can be used in your own workplace. RCSA Members who register will also receive a copy of the toolkit following your attendance/registration.

Please note the Session Time:
  11am - 12pm *AEST | 1pm - 2pm *NZST
