Overview:

Using a variety of examples this session will enable you to learn how to calculate an employee's entitlements.

Awards and enterprise agreements often contain various different loadings, penalties, allowances and other financial entitlements. Some of these are applicable dependent on employment status - full-time, part-time or casual; whilst others are more relevant to the role tasks and responsibilities.

Build your confidence in understanding pay and entitlements by working through some examples in this session.

Learn how to calculate a flat rate
Determine the Award coverage and classification
Understanding some common penalties, allowances and loadings
Practice some worked examples to calculate pay and entitlements to use for pricing on-hire charge out rates
