Wellington | Perfecting the Art of the Client Visit

Perfecting the Art of the Client Visit

Overview:

Client visits are critical to the success of any recruiter. They are so much more than simply a ticked box on a weekly activity report or a KPI measure. Recruitment is all about sales - and people will only buy from people who they know and trust.

Would you ever consider spending over $10,000 with someone you hadn't actually met? Client visits give you better visibility - valuable time spent sitting in front of a customer and help you build up your credibility - allowing you to further demonstrate your level of expertise as a recruitment consultant. More importantly, client visits have a direct link to your profitability - after all, a prospective customer is far more likely to engage you once they have met you in person.

However there is an art to nailing the client visit - whether it's a first time meeting with a potential new prospect; or a half-yearly business review with an established customer. This highly interactive workshop will help new consultants prepare for the plethora of client visits that lie ahead. Whether you are a new consultant looking at developing the skill or you are an experienced consultant this opportunity is a great learning source to develop or simply refresh some new ideas on how to take your client visits up a notch by becoming a trusted advisor in the eyes of both their new and current customers.

Learning Agenda:

  • Secure a meeting with a brand new client
  • Conduct a meeting with a brand new client
  • Approach different types of client visits
  • Overcome objections while sitting right opposite the decision maker
  • Control a meeting with multiple stakeholders
  • Become a 'Trusted Advisor' in the eyes of your customers.
