Igniting Team Potential

Igniting Team Potential

Overview:

Are you convinced that the performance of your team reflects its true potential?  Research shows that effectiveness of individuals can decrease rather than increase when placed in a team.  Yet teams represent our future!  Teaming is a learnable skill for any manager or leader.  Learn how your team can not just perform at its true potential but thrive.

The Igniting Potential framework will ensure that leaders have the ingredients to build a team and not just a group of performers who are committed to doing their best, individually. Attendees will learn together and will explore how to get to this vital first step and avoid building a team of stars when you could be building a star team!

Throughout this workshop attendees will walk through both dimensions by exploring the importance of:

  • belonging as a critical factor in building team engagement and retention,
  • the role of resilience versus resourcefulness in nurturing wellbeing in your team, as well as
  • how you can build healthy dynamics and ensure authentic relationships happen across the entire team.

We take an action-based learning approach that will be reinforced via a follow-up 90-minute group coaching session to ensure that key learnings are integrated into your own team environment and any blocks or obstacles can be addressed with your Leading Well team coach and facilitator.

This workshop will be held on Thursday 20 October 2022 at 9am - 1pm AEST in Sydney.

Testimonials:

Testimonial from a National Conference Organisation
Survey rating: Highly Valuable
I just wanted to drop you a note to say a big thank you for the session yesterday. We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience and took a lot out of the day. You did a fantastic job of facilitating and the content was spot on.

Given we don't often connect as a team outside of business-related sessions, I felt that this was very useful.  The timing of the session was perfect as we'd got through a long Board session which required significant pre-work, and it allowed us to have a clear mind to reflect on the year's achievements and think through what are next year's priorities.

Testimonial from a Global Defence Technology Organisation
We are definitely more considerate of each other. There is more support, communication and everyone is not afraid to speak up. We also seem to be enjoying being part of this team. It has brought the team closer together. I feel I can trust more of the team.  We have increased our team cohesion and understanding each other. It has provided the team with a method to deal with difficult conversations/conflict. The team seem to be taking more ownership of issues.

Testimonial from a Health Insurance Organisation
Thriving Teams helped me in breaking down barriers, gaining a better understanding of the team dynamics, clarity on why some things are the way they are.
