Join the RCSA Secret Source Collab, a live online forum where recruitment and staffing professionals will have the opportunity to engage with guest hosts and other industry colleagues and learn how to engage and source passive talent whilst developing techniques that support the sourcing process overall. 

Each collab session will investigate online sourcing channels and how to best devote your time to attracting top talent. Attendees will engage in discussion on how to build a pipeline strategy that focuses on candidate engagement and how to create or redefine the role of sourcer within a recruitment firm.

Series #1 Overview:


The standard approaches that power sourcing strategies is a risky strategy which brings with it increased workloads in sorting through the low-quality response. It also runs the risk of creating brand damage to our organisation by offering poor experiences to potential and existing customers, shareholders and other stakeholders of the organisation.

The new landscape for Recruitment Marketers now encompasses all the channels that Consumer Marketers use, which requires a whole new way of thinking and operating. The posting and praying on job boards of yesteryear has made way for the detailed and thoughtful profiling of talent and delivery of carefully-targeted messages across multiple media channels to reach and engage our target audiences, and bring them on the journey into our organisation.

Through reframing the approach to candidate creation means recruitment professionals can identify opportunities in their current recruitment communications strategy and set a path forward to reach hiring and ROI goals.

Recruitment and Staffing professionals are invited to join Mike Beeley, CEO Lightbox Communications and Tech Solutions Consultant, and Andrew Rodger, CEO and Founder recMate, who will discuss and present the 21st century approach in how to utilise broader media channels to reach talent earlier in the career-change cycle by approaching them through mainstream media.

Starting his career in 1985 in the UK with a specialist Recruitment Advertising agency, Mike has helped drive the evolution of the industry into a strategic talent pipelining partner to organisations.

Moving to Australia in 1989 and steering through multiple economic and industry cycles, he continues to strive towards more recognition for HR within organisations, turning complex challenges into simple and elegant solutions, and to lift the quality of communications across the sector.

He calls himself a Possie (half-Pom half-Aussie) but the reality is the UK probably wouldn’t want him back…
