Do Recruitment Assessments Take the Guesswork Out of Recruiting?

Job seekers are so well researched these days and often have already rehearsed the answers to the questions you have asked them. They often appear surprisingly confident and articulate with logical answers around their competence and motivation.

Ideally you want to probe more deeply and explore areas and situations they haven’t anticipated, so that you can uncover the ‘real’ person and how they perform under greater pressure.

Using psychological assessments can provide you with information that allows you to ask original questions that create interesting and different conversations around their personality, their thinking and their behaviours.

In this webinar we provide a broad overview of why and how you might use assessments in your selection process, what you might want to test for and what tests you could use including those with a gamification twist.

Key Learnings:

  • Better understand the recruitment assessment landscape
  • Learn how to use tests to create more insightful conversations
  • Understand how assessments fit with other selection techniques

Who Should Attend:

  • Recruitment specialists in internal and agency
  • Recruitment Team Managers, Directors and Business Owners
  • HR professionals and hiring managers interested in better selection techniques

Meet the facilitator: Paul Lyons

Paul Lyons is an experienced mental toughness coach who assists recruitment professionals to develop the mindset to be consistently successful.

He has a blue chip background in white collar recruitment -25 years a CEO with two companies –Michael Page International Asia Pacific and Ambition –where, in both, he and his colleagues built successful businesses comprising a valued brand, a regional network and a positive – ‘no dickheads no passengers’ culture.

After he left Ambition, the ASX business he co-founded, he established Mental Toughness Partners –a global network of coaches who assist individuals and organizations in building resilience and mental toughness to improve their performance and well-being.
