The Smiling Ox Paradox

Overview:

Have you ever met a person who seemed to have influence wherever they went and with whomever they met? Someone universally admired, respected and with that rare power to get others to effortlessly follow their lead? How do they do it?

Social science research from Harvard and Princeton has shown that these rare individuals exhibit a combination of two key qualities that explain their influence.

The Smiling Ox Paradox® program will reveal what these two qualities are and will measure how strongly you currently exhibit these qualities. Participants get access to the exclusive Smiling Ox psychometric assessment tool. While most psychometric tools reveal how you see the world, this tool reveals how the world sees you. From your results you will learn specific strategies to become the person others are compelled to follow.

This has proven to be incredibly effective for clients working in a customer facing environment, as it enhances their ability to understand how they impact others, how they are judged in others’ minds and it provides a road map for improvement. Equally, this session has proven effective for those managers and leaders trying to get results with, and through, the people in their teams.

    Who Should Attend:

This session is deliberately designed to be universal in scope. It is rare to have a session that connects with such a varied audience. Audiences that have loved it include senior leaders, sales people, professionals needing to influence without authority, presenters, customer service professionals.

    Meet the facilitator: Michelle Rushton

With over 15 years of experience with tens of thousands of people, Michelle has designed and delivered award-winning behaviour change and leadership development programs for companies like Microsoft, Australia Post and American Express.
