Leadership & Management Skills for the Billing Manager

Overview:

In recruitment, we like to promote from within in our companies - which is a great thing. Unfortunately, the downside is that, some that were a great recruitment consultant, get promoted to being a manager and receive no training or development for this new role… which is VERY different to being a consultant.

Now compound that with still having to bill.

The session will include John Adair's 'Action Centered Leadership', which aims to balance the ability to generate revenue, manage a team and develop individuals at the same time (pre-session preparation required). Then secondly, Ken Blanchard's 'Situational Leadership II (SLII), of which Angela is a qualified trainer.

Objectives:

This two-hour video workshop will give the opportunity for the Team Leader or Manager:

To review their current situation in relation to managing a team and achieving the billing they require
To understand the key elements of the 'Balancing Act' that they have to perform
To appreciate the different leadership and management styles to help individuals
To utilize a framework that helps to develop individuals throughout their careers

Meet the facilitator: Angela Cripps
