2020 RCSA (NZ) Industry Award Winner:  Excellence in Safety Culture

Overview:

Stellar Recruitment showed outstanding commitment to leadership and continual improvement within their NZ operations and were announced as the winner of the RCSA 2020 Excellence in Safety Culture Award.

As the 2020 (NZ) Industry Award Winner the judges shared they demonstrated a positive commitment to both the mental and social sides of safety and not just the physical.  Their recognition and reward for safety initiatives, show that Stellar Recruitment staff feel empowered to continuously improve.

Supporting Australian SafeWork month RCSA are hosting this free webinar for Recruitment and Staffing professionals.  Whether you are a RCSA Member or not this is an invite all session where as a community you can join the conversation and further understand how Stellar Recruitment sought to continuously look for opportunities to make their workplace safer for their field of employees and customers alike.

Kirsten is Health and Safety Advisor at Stellar Recruitment and has over seven years of experience in hands on operational health and safety roles across a wide variety of New Zealand industry sectors. Kirsten is responsible for the advisory, operational management and day to day execution of Stellar Recruitment’s New Zealand health, safety and wellness activities. Kirsten works collaboratively with Stellar Recruitment’s clients to strive to prevent work related injury and illness.

Katie is a health and safety professional with almost 15 years’ experience across the construction, fabrication, and mining industries. She is responsible for the development and implementation of ISO45001 certified H&S System for Stellar Recruitment as well as the safety function of the Australian business, including work injury claims. Katie seeks to implement change that has a positive impact on workers and business alike.
