Overview:
Managing Psychosocial Risks in Recruitment: Internal Teams & On-Hire Workers
Across Australia, psychosocial risks have moved to the forefront of workplace compliance. Regulators are shifting from guidance to enforcement, with SafeWork NSW recently halting the University of Technology Sydney’s downsizing program until the psychological impact on staff was addressed. Courts are also holding employers accountable, with toxic workplace cases highlighting how issues like bullying and harassment can quickly escalate into litigation and costly claims.
With Victoria set to introduce its Psychological Health Regulations in December, the final jurisdiction to legislate in this area, recruitment businesses must now treat psychosocial hazards with the same seriousness as physical ones.
This webinar will provide recruitment leaders with:
- An update on the latest regulatory changes and enforcement trends
- Insights into what psychosocial risks look like in practice
- Case examples of how poor management leads to claims and litigation
- Practical steps for managing risks across both internal teams and on-hire workers
