On-Hire WHS Laws to Manage Safety at Work for Senior Roles

On-Hire WHS Laws to Effectively Manage Safety in the Workplace for Senior Consultants or Agency Leaders

Overview:

Achieving workplace safety in an on-hire environment should be top of mind for leadership roles who manage teams and or lead organisations. It’s not a matter of simple due diligence, the significance lies in the role of involvement in driving health and safety as the primary goal.

For leaders it means taking every precaution that is reasonable to uncover safety concerns and the need to know what is going on in their on-hire environment means rethinking how you engage with your on-hire staff, the host client, and the agency compliance role.

This program is specifically designed for on-hire managers and leaders, this workshop provides a high energy insight into how to bring the Health & Safety Act to life.

  • Why the Health and Safety at Work Act is for everybody
  • An appreciation for the guiding principles of the Act
  • Thorough understanding of the three duty holder types
  • The fundamental role of the senior consultant, manager and agency leader
  • Confident application of theory and implementation of risk management practices
  • How to inspire others and produce insightful conversations
