Mental Health First Aid

Mental Health First Aid

Overview:

According to Mental Health First Aid, one in five Australians will experience a mental health problem in any given year. People who experience mental health come from diverse backgrounds and those in senior roles in the workplace often feel uncomfortable and unprepared when thinking about starting a mental health conversation with someone they are concerned about.

We invite leaders and/or senior roles in recruitment and staffing to join Mental Health First Aid in the Workplace program which aims to enhance your role as leaders extending support beyond the usual individual-focused mental health solutions. Learn how to recognise warning signs and develop the skills & capabilities to approach and support a colleague, family member while keeping yourself safe.

The live delivery of this workshop will be held across two sessions:
  • Session 1: Tuesday 30 April 2024 at 10am - 12.30pm AEST (Melbourne/Sydney time)
  • Session 2: Wednesday 1 May 2024 at 10am - 12.30pm AEST (Melbourne/Sydney time).

In addition to the live workshops, participants will need to complete pre-learning modules. These eLearning modules have a time commitment of a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 7 hours and must be completed prior to the workshops.
