Judges Feedback – What got NZ’s Award Winners Over the Line

It’s been one week since RCSA crowned Aotearoa’s Recruitment and Staffing Industry Award winners at a glamourous, black tie ball inside the exclusive Cordis Hotel.

Today, we reveal some of the judges feedback and reflect once more on a night to remember.

Excellence in Candidate Care

Frog Recruitment

The judges considered that Frog Recruitment presented a well-rounded, professional and genuine entry with substantial evidence to support their statements. Their service is clearly technology driven, however they have not lost the personal touch that is so critical for candidate care. Their dedication to Māori and Pasifika employment and use of Te Reo Māori for more inclusive job advertisements is admirable, as is their no news is news philosophy.

The judges were impressed with how The Work Collective were able to take a concept, give it a clear purpose, and make it work in a thorough way, in a way no other recruiter has been able to before. Their commitment to encouraging students, particularly Māori, into viable, long term career paths is remarkable. It is also encouraging to see how they have embraced the community through involvement from their clients and the Red Cross.

Remarkable People presented a well thought through entry that demonstrated deep reflection and planning. It is clear that they have a robust culture of reporting and are implementing innovative procedures to achieve results. Excellence in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging

Student Job Search

The judges were impressed with the wide coverage of areas of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) presented by Student Job Search in their well-rounded entry. The diversity of their team shows that DEIB is inherent in their business and that they are living their values. The way Student Job Search told their story and connected it to their strategy was inspirational.

The judges were impressed with how Leedsafe demonstrated a simple and understandable solution for their client by utilising innovative technology-based innovations. Their innovation will have a long-term impact, whilst considering sustainability.

Their overall entry was professionally presented and the judges were impressed with the level of evidence supplied to support incredible results.
