Overview:

This presentation was put together to provide step-by-step information on the ECFMG primary source verification processes and their integration with the AMC portfolio accounts, presented by both AMC and ECFMG representatives. 

This session will provide participants with:

  • clarity on the verification process and requirements
  • information about registration and pathway requirements
  • an opportunity to learn about ECFMG standards and upcoming changes, reducing risk of noncompliance

Meet the facilitators:
Kylie Edwards



Kylie Edwards is the Manager of Verification Services at the Australian Medical Council (AMC), bringing over 17 years of experience in credential verification and accounts management. In this role, she collaborates with key medical boards, colleges, and regulatory bodies like Ahpra to oversee assessment and registration pathways for international medical graduates. Her extensive background is further supported by prior experience as a hospital administrator in Sydney, giving her a deep understanding of healthcare operations.

Zuzette Kruger-Finch

Zuzette Kruger-Finch is a Senior Executive Officer for Assessments at the Australian Medical Council (AMC), offering extensive experience in operational leadership and assessment governance across Australia and South Africa. Since 2007, she has managed key pathways for international medical graduates, currently providing strategic and governance support to committees responsible for AMC assessment programs. Holding an MBA, Zuzette collaborates with diverse stakeholders and medical educators to drive system improvements, quality assurance, and transparency in regulatory environments.

Colleen King-McClintock

Colleen King-McClintock is the Assistant Vice President of ECFMG International Partnerships at Intealth, leading client services to support medical regulatory authorities across more than 30 countries. Since 2018, she has served as the primary senior relationship lead with the Australian Medical Council (AMC) while actively chairing the International Relations Committee for CLEAR. Backed by over 15 years of healthcare leadership experience and a Master of Health Administration, Colleen also serves as President of the ACHE of Greater Philadelphia Chapter.
