How to Write an Effective Job Advertisement

How to Write an Effective Job Advertisement

Overview:

As a recruiter it is absolutely essential that you are across the elements of writing an effective job advertisement.  What is the trick?  Simply you need to spark interest that garners attention, engagement and ultimately reach towards the ideal candidate.

There are several components of a great job advertisement but which component is most important? The headline? The offer? The call to action? The livelihood of a good advertisement depends on them all, so it’s hard to argue that one is more important than another. We can, however, argue that the headline is an important first step, without it, candidates will skip your role and move onto another opportunity that interests them.

Why Attend?

Recruitment is Sales:  Attracting attention for positions includes appealing to your target audience by addressing things that matter to them and creating a curiosity to find out more. By generating interest with your target audience they will want to learn more and compel them to act.
