PEARL Mentoring

The PEARL Mentoring program is no longer accepting applications. The Learning team is currently in the process of reviewing and enhancing the program for its relaunch in 2025.

The RCSA PEARL Mentoring Program helps nurture the next generation of recruitment professionals, allowing them to build the essential skills required to manage the current and future challenges of the Recruitment and Staffing industry.

PEARL (Professional, Emerging & Aspiring Recruitment Leaders) offers emerging leaders the opportunity to learn from the experiences of established professionals within the recruitment and staffing industry. In return, established leaders benefit from exposure to the fresh challenges being faced by today’s emerging talent and the opportunity to grow their own practice through providing insight and support to this new cohort.

Whether you join as a mentor or mentee, mentorship can offer a myriad of benefits:

  • Career & skills development where mentors can share their experience and expertise, providing guidance and support as mentees work to develop new skills
  • Connection with industry peers outside their own working locations
  • Develop a clarity of purpose through increased job satisfaction and retention, participants feel more confident in their roles giving them a stronger sense of purpose and real-time improved performance
  • Professionalism within the industry, mentor programs provide a sense of community and collaboration that contribute to raising industry standards

Participation Costs
The cost of participation in the program is $400.00 ex GST for mentees only (there is no cost for mentors to participate). Included in this cost is training to support and navigate the conversations through the mentoring journey.

 How are pairs matched?
Participants go through a stringent process, with each pair eventually matched based on their goals, objectives, and professional background.

What type of support will I receive during the length of the program?
Mentees and mentors will be supported through scheduled learning touchpoints facilitated by Suzy Miller, a highly regarded professional in the field of executive and leadership development.
The touchpoint training sessions are online, collective sessions. These provide participants with both transparency and clarity of role expectations, as well as shared tools and resources to engage with along the journey.
