Overview:  

Whether you are a business owner or a leader supporting your team, it is important to ensure your employees work in a safe & secure environment free of bullying, discrimination, and harassment.

This workshop provides an introduction to employment law in Australia for those in recruitment and staffing leadership roles. Learn the key elements leaders need to be aware of to prevent workplace relations issues and achieve good overall health, safety, and welfare of their employees.

Citation Legal advisors will explain key pieces of legislation and discuss the latest best-practice principles they recommend.

Meet the facilitator: Clinton Tomeldan


Clinton is based in Melbourne and has varied industrial relations experience across multiple industries.  With experience in public sector enterprise bargaining and agreement interpretation, he offers practical and commercially minded guidance tailored to the unique challenges his clients face.  Clinton’s background includes in-house representation for a national employer, where he supported the employer across various industries such as personal care, aged care, and residential care.  With almost a decade of experience in workplace relations behind him, he also has extensive experience in the Fair Work Commission.

  • RCSA Workshops are not recorded and participants are required to attend using their own device with working webcam and microphone. Any no-show attendees will be marked absent and will be considered as a non-refundable transaction

Pricing:

  • Member registration to attend the live delivery is $235.00 AUD + GST per participant
  • A group registration rate is available for a minimum of 5 registrations for members from the same organisation. To qualify for this rate, each of the 5 attendees must be registered at the time of booking at the group rate of $211.50 AUD + GST per participant
