Purpose:
The Recruitment Consulting Certificate (RCC) offers new recruitment talent access to knowledge that is imperative to the understanding of industry professionalism and concepts across recruitment practices.
Designed and curated in consultation with current RCSA Recruitment Leaders, RCC facilitators, and previous learners, the RCC program introduces talent to this 6-step process that will set them up for success.
Course Structure & Program Delivery:
The online program is a blended learning program which consists of:
- Four eLearning Modules: reading material which prepares learners for workshop activities & discussion.
- A Workplace Learning Journal: weekly journal entries & tasks where learners engage what they learn back to their own workplaces.
- Facilitated Workshops: hosted weekly over a four-week period, learners will engage in discussion & role play activities developing knowledge across:
- Specifying
- Sourcing & Screening
- Selecting & Servicing
- Selling
The RCC program learning outcomes are specifically tailored to cater for the needs of those with less than 12 months experience in recruitment.
New talent will develop an understanding of what professionalism looks like through the key principles of RCSA Code of Professional Conduct.

- Workshop One: Wednesday, 5th June
- Workshop Two: Tuesday, 11th June
- Workshop Three: Tuesday, 18th June
- Workshop Four: Tuesday, 25th June
Assessment:
Two tasks part of the Workplace Learning Journal and an open book final assessment will complete the RCC.
A certificate will be awarded for the successful completion of the RCC program and will facilitate Accredited Professional Membership for a minimum period of 12-months. Meet the Facilitator:
With 20 years recruitment experience across, Australia and New Zealand, Penni can offer course participants an insight into growing a recruitment career from the ground up. Penni has built many a desk across a variety of industries and until recently held leadership roles with global organisations.
Penni is a co-director at Togethr HR, a New Zealand business which can help prevent HR issues developing and provide the right kind of support for organisations exactly when they need it. Penni’s pragmatic approach ensures learners will enjoy an honest and insightful session where best practice is high on her agenda.
Penni has spent 20 years working with global recruitment firms and was chosen as Recruitment Leader of the Year (Seek SARA, 2018). Penni is an active member of the RCSA; she has previously been the NZ Council Chair and a Board Director for New Zealand and Australia.

- RCSA Members & Non Members: AUD$2,000 plus GST per person*
